IX Workplace Desktop
This course offers training on the Avaya Equinox Desktop features and functionality.
Avaya Equinox is a software application that enables you to control telephone calls (both incoming and outgoing) directly from your PC. Avaya Equinox enables you to log into your company’s server remotely and make and receive telephone calls from your softphone anywhere you may travel. It also can connect to products such as Microsoft Outlook, and offers conferencing, presence and chat (if required/purchased)
Hands on training and exercises will be used throughout the course to demonstrate basic call handling and Equinox Desktop features.

Training Room Requirements | Meeting Room 1 pc/laptop for trainer Projector/Screen connected to trainer pc/laptop for demo with product installed Logins and Passwords 1 PC between 2 people with Softphone installed (where possible) Headsets per pc/laptop Voicemail style and access details |
Remote Training Requirements | Sessions will be hosted using either Webex or Microsoft Teams sessions Attendees must have access to a PC/ Laptop that can access Webex or Microsoft Teams |

- Top of Mind explanation
- Meetings Calendar usage and linking
- Basic call handling
- Transferring calls
- Conference calls
- Understanding and adding of Equinox Contacts
- Understanding and using the Local Contacts
- Understand and use the call History
- Updating Preferences
- Zang Spaces Chat (Where applicable)
- Using Voicemail
Guides will be provided for either before the day by email, or on a memory stick on the day.
