Avaya IX Workplace Meetings

This course offers training on the Avaya IX Workplace Meetings Online features and
functionality.
Avaya IX Workplace Meetings Online is a conferencing collaboration tool that enables you to
connect to numerous internal (Authenticated) users with EMO licences for IM chat, screen
share, whiteboard, audio conversation, video calling functions. And can also be used to invite
external users to join the online meeting, it can be used via Web Portal, Workplace Desktop,
Workplace Mobile and compatible video conferencing units.
Hands on training and exercises will be used throughout the course to demonstrate the listed
features of this conference collaboration tool.

Projector/Screen connected to trainer pc/laptop for demo with
product installed
Logins and Passwords
1 PC between 2 people with Softphone installed (where
possible)
Headsets per pc/laptop
Licence info required – Standard or Pro with Recording and
Broadcast and allocated to attendees
Remote Training Requirements Sessions will be hosted using either Webex or Microsoft Teams sessions
Attendees must have access to a PC/ Laptop that can access Webex or Microsoft Teams
Note This course should take place before a cutover

Course Content

Upon successful completion, delegates will be able to:

  • Explanation of Login Email instructions and Meeting Room Link
  • Logging into your Equinox Online Portal
  • Downloading Equinox Desktop where applicable
  • Overview of Equinox Meetings Web Portal screen
  • Run through of settings – Access PINS, Moderator PINS and general location settings
  • Testing your Video and Audio
  • Inviting participants to your meetings – Immediate invites and Scheduled invites
  • How to join another meeting as a participant
  • In conference functions – Public and Private Chat, Whiteboard, Application and screen
    share options
  • Joining Meeting on Equinox Desktop and Mobile
  • Recording and Broadcasting Live Events – (If applicable licences purchased)
  • Voicemail style and access details

Guides will be provided for either before the day by email, or on a memory stick on the day.
