Microsoft 365 Introduction

This course will provide users with an overview and introduction of the most useful features of Microsoft 365. This will include general navigation and customisation features of the user’s profiles. This course can be completely customised for each client as appropriate.

Prerequisite A basic understanding of Office 2013 and Outlook
A basic knowledge of Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Remote Training Requirements Sessions will be hosted using either Webex or Microsoft Teams sessions
Attendees must have access to a PC/ Laptop that can access Webex or Microsoft Teams
Note This course should take place before a cutover

Delegates will undertake the following modules:

Module 1: Microsoft 365 Overview

  • Introducing Cloud Computing
  • Identify and Outline the Component Products in Microsoft 365 including Outlook Web App,
  • Office Online Apps, and OneDrive.
  • Navigating around Microsoft 365
  • Customising the Microsoft 365 Nav Bar
  • Updating your Profile in Microsoft 365

Module 2: Using the Outlook Online Application

  • Overview of Outlook Online
  • Working with Email and Folders
  • Outlook People and IM Contacts
  • Using the Calendar
  • Shared Calendars
  • Outlook Tasks in the Web App
  • Setting Outlook Options, Signatures, Automatic Replies and Rules
